  Well this hostel is quiet big! And it is well constructed . Staff are great, they give you all the info you need. They are very helpful and they always smile. The location is not the best! Definetly not a touristic location, but i still like it because you are in the midle of everywhere in Rio. Like down south you got the copacabana and ipanema and a bit south you got beatiful Santa Teresa and THE FAMOUS STREET in RIO : LAPA The hoste is very comfortable, and relaxing, but not the best place to socialize with others. But if you want chill out and get to know Rio de Janeiro, then this is your place!

  This is THE place! Beatiful hostel, with and exclusive hotel's comfort. You still get to know new cool people. You still get to make nice conversations, play pool with people from all around the world. And when you go to you room to sleep, you have the most comfortable beds. Really nice breakfast. And close to metro, close to everything! Definetly the place to be in Rio.

  This hostel was very cool. It had a really nice breakfast. Cool staff. It would be better if they could have speak a bit better english. Really nice beds! Really nice common areas. And it is very chill out hostel. It is huge, but u dont feel it. If you are looking for partying this is not your place. But if you are willing to chill out, if you are looking for a hotel comfort for a hostel price then this is your place.

  Eu gostei muito do hostel por que e bem tranquilo. Eu tava com meu namarado, nois ficamos em um quarto do casal, o preco era muito boa, e o quarto era otimo. Tinha LCD TV a dentro, banheiros eran sempre limpos. Gostamos muito.

  Este es el lugar que obtienes un servicio de hostel por precios de un hostel. Es muy bueno. es gigante el lugar. Las camas los banhos, el staff todo esta PERFECTA! Y por estos precios no puedes encontrar nada parecido!

  I had the best sleep of my entire 6 months sleep here in this hostel. Thats why i just loved it! There are always a bunch of brazilian at the hostel, so you get the meet with them and hang out with them which is pretty cool.

  The hostel is located in Catete, a neighboorhood near the centre of Rio de Janeiro but not-so-close to Copacabana, Ipanema and the best beaches. The metro station is 2 blocks from the hostel, so the location was Ok. The service wasn't great, they are not very friendly but they are kind and servicial, is more like a low budget hotel than a hostel. They don't give touristic advices and we had to ask the change of our linens and towels because they have forgotted. The building is good, quite new, and the rooms (we were in a double pirvate bathroom) were good too, with A/C and LCD TV. They don`t have double beds, they put two individual beds if you are with your girl/boyfriend. The breakfast was OK, but we have stayed 10 days and they never changed the "menu", always the same juice, the same type of bread, etc. The last thing is that they didn`t gave us our minihostels card so we will talk with the staff of MH to see what we have to do (because we already payed those cards)

  Had a good double en suite room here. Free brakfast was lovely and the staff really helpful. Good location near a metro to explore Rio and plenty of shops, restaurants nearby.
