Based just outside the city of Cuzco, Hostal Magico is a short distance from the market that displays Cuzqueñan products such as food, clothing, and crafts. It is an ideal base for tours to the lost city and to the rest of the archaeological sites for right across the small market is the Machu Picchu Train Station. The hostel is also only about three minutes from the Yanapay Schools, the hostel?s beneficiary of its social project.
The hostel?s warm and friendly ambiance is a pleasant welcome after a whole day?s trek. It offers spacious and comfortable lounging areas, a well furnished homely kitchen, a TV/DVD room with a wide collection of movies; and a modest but invigorating dining room among others. Hostal Magico is 8 minutes walk from Main Square. A taxi from Bus station should be up to 5 soles and from airport up to 10 soles.

The homey environment is a soothing salvo after the exhausting hikes and gruelling trips to the nearby archaeological sights. Located at a simple neighbourhood of Calle Fierro, travellers will have a feel of the life of the local people. The rooms are nicely decorated and are regularly cleaned by the incredibly friendly staff.

The hostel has a great environment and has a colourful decoration. It is cozy, comfortable and has a friendly staff. The beds were incredibly so comfortable and the hot showers were always a welcome treat. It is a beautiful little world run by angels.

cute hostel. only real problem was that when i got there with my minihostels reservation, they'd never heard of minihostels... it's a unique little place with bright colors, crazily-themed rooms, comfortable beds and well-cleaned bathrooms. if you're looking to make a reservation, shoot them an email. don't do it through minihostels, or you'll just end up giving up your 10% deposit.
